Just tapped:  Cigar City Cider & Mead Homemade Apple Pie Cider – 6.9% ABVapple-cider-pie

Our Notes:

This smells and taste honest to goodness of fresh baked apple pie!  Warm cooked apples, cinnamon spice and sugary dough. Come have a slice – I mean a glass with us!!

New Arrivals: Imperial Doughnut Break – Evil Twin Brewing

New Arrivals: Imperial Doughnut Break – Evil Twin Brewing 11.5% ABV 22 oz Bottlesimperial-doughnut-break-beer-xl

Brewer’s Notes:
Did the flavors of sugar and bitter sweet almonds and coffee in Imperial Biscotti Break also make you sentimental? Now we topped it off with insane amounts of doughnuts. This all time American favorite is making it’s way back into the spotlight and we at Evil Twin Brewing are not letting a tasty trend pass us by without taking it to the next level. Drink it with great gusto – Forza Doughnuts.

Just tapped: Dansk Viking Blod Mjod – Dansk Mjød

Just tapped: Dansk Viking Blod Mjod (Mead/ Honey Wine) – Dansk Mjød 19% ABV vikingsblod
Brewer’s Notes:

This amazing 19% ABV mead from Dansk Mjød, a brewery in Billund, Denmark is highly regarded by both beer and wine enthusiasts alike!

“This artisan metheglin-style Danish mead has hibiscus and hops, which give it a soft, citrus-like flavor and very floral aroma. Its finish is hoppy-dry, spicy, and very warming.” —importer
“The world’s oldest fermented beverage made from honey has been a popular drink from Europe to Australia dating back to long before Viking times. One of the earliest references to fermented honey can be found in the Hindus of India’s holy books, the Vedas, which date back 4000 years and possibly even earlier than that.

“The oldest known recipe for mead to be written down in the Nordic countries was in 1520 by the Archbishop Olaus Magnus. The recipe comprised of water, honey, hops and brewers yeast, and concludes, that ‘on the eight day it may be drunk, but the longer it is left, the purer and better it will be.’

“Our products are brewed based on a recipe from about 1700, and the ingredients are pure and 100-percent natural — guaranteed free from additives of any kind. Honey is the major and most important item in the recipe.” —brewer

Just tapped: Pineapple Sculpin IPA – Ballast Point Brewing Co

Just tapped:  Pineapple Sculpin IPA – Ballast Point Brewing Company 7% ABVpineapple-sculpin

Brewer’s Notes: Our Pineapple Sculpin IPA came from one of many small-batch cask experiments to enhance the flavor of our signature IPA. With so many tropical hop notes in Sculpin, how could we not try adding some sweet, juicy pineapple? The combination of fruity flavors and hop intensity definitely packs a punch.
