Ale with Strawberries, Honey, and White Pepper Aged in Wine Barrels
Inspired by an amuse bouche often prepared by the wife of one of our brewers, Gillian brings white pepper, strawberry, and honey to a harmonious blend of “mouth amusement”. The ingredients are added at different stages to a Saison, and fermented with a normal Belgian yeast as well as a Champagne yeast.
We at Silver Cow would like to announce that we will be closed from 6-9pm this Friday (Dec 2) for a private party which has reserved Silver Cow exclusively for those hours.

Silver Cow will reopen that evening at 9pm and stay open until 2am.
original sin cider Spotlight – Wednesday, December 14, 7 – 9 pm
Sinfully delicious! Join us for an Original Sin Cider spotlight. We will be featuring a special one off made with Northern Spy apples along with other styles of Original Sin Cider. A rep from Original Sin will be on hand sharing stories and swag. Glass giveaway while supplies last.
In the Spring of 2012, Original Sin founder, Gidon Coll set-up a test orchard on his family’s old dairy farm in Upstate New York. The orchard is comprised of over 80 apple varieties on 150 dwarf trees. Planted on a modern trellis system, the trees include cider, modern day and historically significant varieties of apples. The orchard contains old U.S. heirlooms including Harrison, Virginia Crab, Lincolnville Russet, Arkansas Black, Grey Pearmain and Newtown Pippin. The orchard also contains a number of red-fleshed apples as well as varieties that originate from Kazakhstan, France, Turkey, Switzerland, Russia and the U.K.

The Mazer is excited to announce a new event – Mead & Greet – to be held at The Mazer the second Saturday of each month!
This free event begins at 4:30pm and the first one will be Saturday (December 10).
If you make mead or cider at home – bring some to share with the group!
Even if you don’t make it yourself and you have a bottle of mead or cider you’ve picked up and would like to share, bring it to Mead & Greet!
This is a very economical way to introduce you to the various styles and tastes of mead and cider by sharing with others who are curious – and with those who have experience in making – and drinking meads and ciders!
Trade homebrew and fermenting tips with others! Maybe even get motivated to try it at home yourself!
You can even just show up! We will have some packaged meads and ciders available for purchase here at The Mazer!
Our kitchen will be open and we offer various flatbreads, dips, light snacks and meat & cheese plates with pickled vegetables and jams!
That’s not all! … we will have Happy Hour until 7pm, so stick around and get the Happy Hour discount on any mead and/or cider we have on tap!

B Nektar Spotlight will be feature 3 beautiful meads on tap and a few bottles and a B Nektar rep will be here raffling some special bottles and sharing details about these meads. Glass giveaway while supplies last.
